WICHITA—Today, Governor Mike Huckabee endorsed Congressman Mike Pompeo for re-election. Gov. Huckabee is a leading Christian conservative voice in the Republican Party and is well respected among Kansans. He won the 2008 Kansas Republican Presidential Caucus and is a potential 2016 presidential candidate.
“Congressman Mike Pompeo is the true conservative in this race,” Gov. Huckabee said. “But this is about more than his solid pro-life record, his strong opposition to Obamacare, and his impressive military and national security background—this is about how he’s been an effective legislator for Kansas common sense values. I’m proud to stand with Mike as he continues to fight for Kansas common sense values and end Washington’s wasteful spending.”

Mike Pompeo is a longtime job creator in Kansas, having grown companies in the aviation and oil and gas industries. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Pompeo was elected to the United States Congress in his first political campaign in 2010. He and his wife, Susan, live in Wichita.
Mike has already been endorsed by the National Rifle Association, Kansas Farm Bureau, Kansans for Life, the National Right to Life Committee, Family Research Council Action PAC, Club for Growth PAC, FreedomWorks, Tea Party Nation, the US.
