Today, we are kicking off our 2014 campaign with an introduction to our great state of Kansas and the great folks who live here. While others may call it “flyover country,” we all know that Kansas is more than just a state, but our very way of life, a community of folks working hard to take care of each other and our families. This is why I feel so honored to represent each of you in Washington. I wanted to share with you an expression of that in our first radio message here:

“Washington, D.C., Has To Get Past Mike Pompeo”
Susan, Nick, and I love campaigning because it brings us closer to you. The parades, debates, county fairs, and probably too many cups of coffee in small town diners give us the opportunity to talk with and listen to Kansans in the Fourth Congressional District.
We get to work alongside valued friends who always volunteer to help our team get the message out, to remind people of why elections matter. We get to share with Kansans a real vision for our great nation and how I’ve been part of the effort to move the country toward our Kansas conservative values.

“Mike Pompeo Is The Total Kansas Conservative Package”
Knocking on doors in 100 degree Kansas weather and waving signs along main streets from Madison to Medicine Lodge and from Greensburg to Geuda Springs gives us a great opportunity to remind everyone we meet about how conservative values matter and how we are fighting hard for them in Washington, D.C.
Campaigns are also about differences among those seeking your vote. Elections are your opportunity to measure and evaluate, to see who shoots straight and who is willing to work hard. I want to make sure that I am earning your vote and instilling you with confidence in my integrity and my hard work. After all, I’m representing you and Kansans like you.
Our Team Is Ready To Go Again
During this campaign, we’ll talk about a number of issues that we know matter to you.
We cannot wait to see you all on the campaign trail.
Mike & Susan
