Local Leaders Agree Pompeo is Best for Kansas Jobs
WINFIELD, KS – Cowley County business owners and public officials are responding to new false attacks on Mike Pompeo launched today by 4th Congressional District Democrat candidate Raj Goyle.
“This race is about who has the most experience creating jobs,” said Dick Reedy, owner of Reedy Ford in Arkansas City. “People in Cowley County know Mike Pompeo is the only candidate that has actually created private sector jobs. Mike has experience dealing with a government that over-regulates, over-taxes and creates barriers to running a competitive business in a global economy.”
“Mike Pompeo is the type of leader we need representing us in Washington due to the fact he understands how increasing federal regulation and out of control federal spending is destroying Kansas jobs,” Winfield Mayor Tom McNeish said. “Mike’s knowledge and experience of actually creating jobs will be good for Cowley County businesses – for example the G.E. Engine Services facility at Strother Field – and the hardworking Kansans who work in the aviation industry in Cowley County. Mike provides the leadership and experience that can benefit all Winfield businesses.”
Pompeo for Congress Communications Director Josh Wells said numerous local business owners, farmers and public officials who care about Cowley County jobs are supporting Mike Pompeo for Congress.
“Dick Reedy, Carroll Campbell and Winfield Mayor Tom McNeish all have endorsed Mike Pompeo because they know there is a clear choice between Mike Pompeo and Raj Goyle when it comes to protecting and creating Cowley County jobs,” said Wells. “Mike Pompeo is a businessman who knows how to create jobs, and his opponent is a former ACLU lawyer who has never created one job.”
