Behind in the polls and desperate, politician Goyle attacks truth again
WICHITA, KS – Representative Goyle today issued a press release that stated jobs from Hesston, Kansas were outsourced to China. This is false. Raj Goyle is again intentionally deceiving Kansas voters.
“When the business which Mike Pompeo runs today was founded, there were zero jobs making the Sentry line of oilfield equipment in Hesston, Kansas. Zero. The heritage company, Sentry Hesston, ceased manufacturing in Hesston, Kansas by 1990 when Mike was 26 years old and a Captain in the United States Army,” said Josh Wells, Pompeo for Congress Communications Director.
Today, Mike and his business partners, have taken the tradition of the Sentry line of product and created – from scratch – over 100 jobs in the United States including more than two dozen here in Kansas. Sentry is a global business with suppliers, customers and partners all around the world including China, the Mideast, Australia, South and Central America and Europe. Sentry is a proud supplier to the Kansas oil and gas industry supporting even more Kansas jobs.
“So, let’s once again review the score,” Wells continued. “When Mike started Thayer Aerospace, there were zero jobs in Kansas and when he left there were over 400. There were zero Kansas jobs when Sentry was founded and, today, Mike continues to lead a business that supports over 100 American jobs.”
“Raj Goyle: Total lifetime jobs created in Kansas: Zero.”
