Pompeo Unites with other Congressional Primary Winners
WICHITA, KS – Businessman, military veteran and Republican nominee in the 4th Congressional District, Mike Pompeo, joined the Republican winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rdCongressional District primaries to stand united as a new class of conservative leaders bound for Washington, D.C.
“As I’ve said from the beginning of this campaign, the federal government has simply lost its way and now is the time to fix it,” commented Mike Pompeo. “We have leaders in Congress who have destroyed jobs and who have no regard for our economic freedom and liberty. Those leaders need to be replaced.”
“The 4th District of Kansas has lost half of its aircraft jobs in the last year and a half. President Obama has made it politically incorrect to fly in a Kansas-built airplane. Tack on his plan to spend trillions of dollars in stimulus and bailout money – and his job killing health care plan – and that’s the type of reckless mismanagement of our nation I plan to fight in Washington.”
Pompeo joined 2nd District Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins, 1st District Republican nominee Tim Huelskamp and 3rd District nominee Kevin Yoder for the news conference at the State Capitol in Topeka.
“We’ve worked tirelessly over the past several months to win our primaries,” continued Pompeo. “Now we must work even harder and remain focused to ensure a Republican sweep in the Kansas Congressional races in the November 2nd General Election.”
