Representative Forrest Knox (R-13) endorses Pompeo for Congress
EUREKA, KS – State Representative Forrest Knox (R-13) announced his endorsement of Mike Pompeo’s run for the Kansas 4th District Congressional seat.
“Mike Pompeo is exactly the type of leader we need in Congress to put a stop to the outrageous spending habits of a federal government that is obviously out of touch with the citizens of our District,” commented Representative Knox. “We need a Congressman who will bring real world solutions to the problems in Washington. Mike will be the type of leader we can trust to make good decisions, regardless of politics.”
Representative Knox was elected in 2004 and serves the citizens of Kansas House District 13, which includes most of Greenwood County.
“Representative Knox and I share the same understanding that the residents of the 4th District are fed up with the federal government telling them how to choose their health care, run their businesses, their farms, their schools and their families.”
With the endorsement of Representative Knox, Mike Pompeo now has the support of a dozen state lawmakers in the 4th District:
Susan Wagle, State Senator (30th Senate District)
Dick Kelsey, State Senator (26th Senate District)
Carolyn McGinn, State Senator (31st Senate District)
Aaron Jack, State Representative (99th District)
Brenda Landwehr, State Representative (91st District)
Phil Hermanson, State Representative (96th District)
David Crum, State Representative (77th District)
Dan Kerschen, State Representative (93rd District)
Gene Suellentrop, State Representative (105th District)
Marc Rhoades, State Representative (72nd District)
