WICHITA, KS – Businessman and Army veteran Mike Pompeo today received a contribution from KOCHPAC, the Political Action Committee of Koch Industries and affiliated companies.
“The Koch Companies are among the largest employers in the 4th District, providing thousands of good jobs for people in south-central Kansas,” said Pompeo. “I am grateful for this showing of support from the hundreds of employee-contributors to KOCHPAC, and from the thousands of employees they represent.”
“KOCHPAC is just one group among the thousands of Kansans from the aviation, agricultural, energy, and every other sector of the economy who understand that the trajectory of government growth is not sustainable,” Pompeo noted. “Without a return to fiscal sanity, every business and every family in the 4th District will pay a high price for the spending explosion we have seen in the last year.”
“The employees of the Koch Companies have jobs here in the Wichita because of their own hard work and creativity, not because a federal agency deemed it to be so,” Pompeo continued. “In Congress, I will fight to reduce federal government interference so that our local businesses, large and small, can compete in the global economy and create new jobs.”
