State Representative Dan Kerschen (R-93) endorses Pompeo For Congress
GARDEN PLAIN, KS – State Representative Dan Kerschen (R-93) has joined the growing list of state lawmakers from the 4th District who have endorsed Pompeo for Congress.
“Mike’s understanding of agriculture and small business give me total confidence that he will effectively represent the people of south central Kansas in Washington,” commented Kerschen. “His knowledge of the importance of agriculture in the 4th District will help Kansas farmers fight to keep the federal government from passing more regulatory laws – such as cap and trade and estate tax – that would be detrimental to the success of the Kansas wheat and cattle industry,” concluded Kerschen.
Kerschen is an active farmer who owns and operates a dry land operation of wheat, milo and soybeans in western Sedgwick County. He’s a member of the Commerce and Labor, Transportation, and Agriculture and Natural Resources committees in the Kansas House.
“I’m proud to have Dan’s endorsement and support,” stated Pompeo. “Dan and I share the same belief that farmers and ranchers in the 4th District are going to be seriously harmed if the federal government passes new regulation in the form of cap and trade. Those in Washington need realize a scheme that looks good on the East and West coasts, does not equal good things for the nation’s heartland,” concluded Pompeo.
Kerschen joins many other state lawmakers who have endorsed Pompeo’s 4th District Congressional campaign:
