Rep. Trey Gowdy campaigns in Wichita with Rep. Mike Pompeo
WICHITA—This event has been postponed until Saturday morning at 10 a.m. As you have probably seen in the news, Reps. Gowdy and Pompeo to remain in Washington, D.C., to vote for one day longer than was originally scheduled.
Rep. Trey Gowdy, a prominent Republican congressman from South Carolina and chair of the Select Committee on Benghazi, arrives in Wichita this weekend for free Election Day warm-up events with Rep. Mike Pompeo. The media is invited to attend the following event.

When: Saturday, August 2, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Gates open at 10 a.m. and program starts at 10:30 a.m.

Why: Trey Gowdy joins Mike Pompeo in Wichita to campaign as a fellow effective legislator working toward advancing a pro-growth agenda before the August 5th Republican primary.

Mike Pompeo is a longtime job creator in Kansas, having grown companies in the aviation and oil and gas industries. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Pompeo was elected to the United States Congress in his first political campaign in 2010. He and his wife, Susan, live in Wichita.
Mike has already been endorsed by the National Rifle Association, Kansas Farm Bureau, Kansans for Life, the National Right to Life Committee, Family Research Council Action PAC, Club for Growth PAC, FreedomWorks, Tea Party Nation, the US.
