Kansans for Life PAC Endorses Pompeo

WICHITA, KS – Kansans for Life PAC (KFL PAC) has announced its endorsement of Congressman Mike Pompeo in his re-election campaign in the 4th District of Kansas Congressional race. 

“We appreciate and need the strong leadership of Mike Pompeo in Congress to continue to carry the banner for our pro-life cause and movement,” said David Gittrich, Kansans for Life State Development Director.  “During his first term in office, Mike has continually voted to protect life and to protect the unborn.  His steadfast dedication to his conservative values and Christian faith is exactly the type of representation we need in Congress for the 4th District of Kansas.” 

Over the past 18 months, Congressman Pompeo has addressed the March for Life on the National Mall in Washington, DC, and he most recently spoke at the National Right to Life Convention. 

“The attacks on our liberties and freedoms continue,” commented Mike Pompeo.  “Not only must we continue to fight to protect life in all forms, but now we must fight to protect our religious freedoms at the hands of President Obama and his health care law. 

“Earlier this year, our former Governor and current Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, put out a rule that forced every institution, including ones with religious objections, to provide health insurance coverage for sterilization, drugs that cause abortions, and birth control.  This rule would force thousands of Kansans—and millions of Americans—to violate their religious beliefs.  This is not only an infringement of our religious freedom, it simply is another example of an over-reaching federal government.
