Rep. Steve Huebert (R-90) endorses Pompeo; Says he'll help get Kansans back to work
WICHITA, KS – State Representative Steve Huebert (R-90) today announced his endorsement of Mike Pompeo in the Kansas 4th District Congressional race.
“Mike Pompeo is the best candidate to focus on the issue of getting Kansans back to work. He understands the burdensome regulation and pressure the federal government is applying to residents in the 4thDistrict of Kansas,” commented Huebert. “His ability to listen and his commitment to take the concerns we have to Washington is exactly the type of representation we need in Congress. Mike’s pro-family values and vision for a smaller, less intrusive federal government – along with his desire to curb the out of control tax and spending in Washington – are in line with my goals as a state lawmaker from northwest Sedgwick County.”
Representative Huebert is from Valley Center and represents Valley Center, Park City, Andale, Colwich, Maize, Bentley, Mount Hope and Sedgwick.
“Steve and I share the same belief that the federal government is out of control,” commented Mike Pompeo. “For too long, Congress has taken control of decisions that should be made locally among people who know what’s best for Kansas. I am proud to have Steve Huebert’s endorsement and honored to work with him and the other state lawmakers who have endorsed my campaign,” concluded Pompeo.
With Representative Huebert’s endorsement, Pompeo now has the support of 18 state lawmakers from across the 4th District of Kansas.
