State Representative David Crum (R-77) endorses Mike Pompeo in 4th District race
AUGUSTA, KS – Kansas House of Representative member David Crum (R-77) of Augusta has added his name to the growing list of state lawmakers who have endorsed veteran and businessman Mike Pompeo in the Kansas 4th District Congressional race.
“With his military background, Mike is exactly the kind of voice for Kansas we need in Washington,” said Representative Crum. “In a time when our nation’s security is under attack and our servicemen and women are sacrificing so much, we need leaders with significant experience defending freedom for every American,” continued Crum.
Mike graduated from West Point, our United States Military Academy, and served our nation as a tank commander in Germany during the Cold War.
Crum, a long time Republican and practicing optometrist, has been the Representative from the 77th Kansas House District since 2007. He is currently the Vice-Chair of the House Health and Human Services Committee and he also serves on the House Appropriations Committee.
“David’s endorsement in my run for Congress is most meaningful and,” said Mike Pompeo of Crum’s support, adding that, “David is a rock-solid state legislator who understands the importance of balancing our federal budget.”
